Motivation is what gets us to do whatever we actually do.
In a job, or a family, or a group of friends, or a team event or in any of our day to day activities, there are people who are trying to get us to do what they want. They come up with endless reasons why we need to do this, that or the other.
But what we really want is to do whatever we want instead.
And this causes problems for us in the groups we surround ourselves with.
We may not feel we are the masters of our own destinies but we are if we can only shake off the shackles of duty, commitments, advertising, previous promises, etc and find a way to serve ourselves and our communities in our own way.
Controlling our own motivation then is the key to taking control of our lives, our successes and our happiness and wellbeing.
